Help
Questions, feedback, or trouble with a tour? We're happy to help.
We typically reply within a few business days. Tell us your iOS version and what happened, and we'll get you sorted.
How do tours work?
Search for a city, landmark, or neighborhood and AutoTour builds a self-guided audio walking tour around it. With the tour open, narration can start automatically as you reach a stop. If your screen is locked, tap the arrival notification to open that stop and listen.
Free tours and credits
New users get a few free tours. After that, generating a tour uses a credit. Open Profile โ Manage credits (or Add credits when your balance is empty) to buy more tours. Credits never expire and there's no subscription.
I bought credits but don't see them
Open Profile โ Manage credits โ Restore Purchases. This re-checks the App Store for any completed or interrupted purchases. If they still don't appear, email us with the date of purchase.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
Why does AutoTour ask for location?
Location lets AutoTour detect when you arrive at each stop. With the tour open, narration can start automatically. While AutoTour is in the background or your screen is locked, arrival checks continue on-device and an optional notification tells you the stop is ready; tap it to listen. Apple MapKit handles map search and routing; AutoTour does not store your location on our servers or send your exact starting location to AI services. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings; tours still show their stops without it.
Listening offline
You can have tours download for offline playback in Settings โ Downloads, and clear cached audio there too. Cleared audio regenerates on your next tour.
