These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the AutoTour app and website. By using AutoTour you agree to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which also applies to your use of the app. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the stricter consumer protection applies.
1The service
AutoTour generates self-guided audio walking tours for places you choose, using AI and publicly available sources, and plays narration as you reach each stop.
2Credits and purchases
- Generating a tour uses a credit. New users receive a number of free tours, after which additional credits can be purchased.
- Credits are sold as consumable in-app purchases through Apple. They are consumable, do not expire, do not auto-renew, and are not transferable or redeemable for cash. AutoTour does not offer subscriptions.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase and are charged to your Apple Account.
- Purchases and any refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Use Restore Purchases in the app if a purchase was interrupted.
3AI-generated content
Tour itineraries and narration are produced by AI and drawn from third-party and public sources. They may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or out-of-date information, and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Verify anything important (such as opening hours, access, or safety of a location) from an authoritative source.
Safety. AutoTour is not a navigation, mapping, or safety device. Always stay aware of your surroundings, obey traffic signals and local laws, and do not let the app distract you while walking, cycling, driving, or crossing streets. You are solely responsible for your own safety and for how you move through the world.
4Acceptable use
AutoTour is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent it, overload or abuse the generation system, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
5Intellectual property
The AutoTour app, brand, and original content are owned by AutoTour. Third-party content surfaced in tours (such as Wikipedia text and images) remains the property of its owners and is used under their respective licenses.
6Disclaimers and limitation of liability
AutoTour is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutoTour and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
7Changes
We may update the service or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
8Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer law provides otherwise.
